Module Review: Context Layouts 6.x-3.0

Version:
6.x-3.0

Update: I've manually uploaded a higher-quality version. You can now enable the HD version in YouTube so that you'll be able to read the code. Unfortunately, I can't boost the volume any further.
Update #2: The code for this simple theme is now on GitHub: https://github.com/brockboland/coltest

The Context Layouts module is one of those modules I wish I had known about six months ago, because it would have saved me a lot of headaches.

Basically, the module adds an option to the Blocks context reaction that allows you to choose which layout to use for the page when that context is active. You define the different layouts in your theme.

I did a quick screencast to demo how to use this module, by using a Columns taxonomy to tag nodes that should be displayed in one-, two-, or three-column layouts. The contexts have a Taxonomy Term condition, and a reaction to set the page layout.

Hopefully, you can see what's going on here. I selected the 720p option when exporting from ScreenFlow to YouTube, so I'm hoping that the higher-quality version will be available later (because it's not right now). New, higher-quality version uploaded.
